Notker Labeo
Notker III., genannt Notker der Deutsche (lateinisch Notker Teutonicus oder Notker Labeo; * um 950 im Thurgau; † 28. Juni 1022 in St. Gallen), war ein Schweizer Benediktinermönch und Leiter der Klosterschule in St. Gallen. Er war einer der ersten Aristoteles-Kommentatoren des Mittelalters, und seine kommentierenden Übersetzungen biblischer und antiker Schriften ins Deutsche sind eine Hauptquelle für unser Wissen über das Spätalthochdeutsche und das Altalemannische. https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Notker_III.
Notker Labeo (c. 950 – 28 June 1022), also known as Notker the German (Latin: Notcerus Teutonicus) or Notker III, was a Benedictine monk active as a scholar and teacher. He was the first commentator on Aristotle active in the Middle Ages and translated the works of earlier Latin writers such as Boethius and Martianus Capella. Notker is also attributed the authorship of five short essays on music.

Notker l'Allemand (Notker Teutonicus, également traduit Notker le Teuton), ou Notker Labeo soit Notker le lippu (vers 950, 28 juin 1022) était un moine bénédictin de l'abbaye de Saint-Gall, maintenant en Suisse.
